Welcome to Furroughfield, the Commonwealth of Free Beasts! Imagine a place where the soil is fertile and the neighborhood consists of anthropomorphic animals dedicated to farming. In Harvest, you step into the shoes of one of these farmers, each with their own unique quirks and abilities. To get started, you'll choose a farmhouse that provides specific round-to-round benefits, giving you a strategic edge as the game progresses.
The game flow is quite dynamic. Everything begins with the drafting of 'sunrise' cards. These cards are crucial because they determine not only your immediate income but also the turn order for the current round. Once the order is set, it's time to get to work—or rather, get your wheelbarrows moving! You'll navigate your wheelbarrows around town to gather the resources needed to keep your fields in top shape.
The heart of the game lies in land management. You'll need to plant seeds, tend to the soil, and, of course, harvest crops to earn money and score points. But don't stop there: to grow, you'll have to clear land to expand your farm and construct buildings. These buildings are key to making your operation more efficient and securing valuable endgame bonuses.
It's an optimization game where every placement choice and every resource collected matters. Can you organize your farm efficiently enough to become the most prosperous producer in the region? When the harvest season comes to an end, the farmer with the most points claims victory. Get your tools ready, organize your wheelbarrows, and happy harvesting!

How long does a game take?
Usually between 30 to 60 minutes. It's a great timeframe for those who want something strategic without spending the whole afternoon.
Does it work well in solo mode?
Yes! The game supports 1 to 4 players, so you can test your farming strategies on your own.
Are the components high quality?
Yes, it was manufactured by Panda, a market leader, so expect high-quality wooden pieces and boards.
Who would I recommend this game to?
People who enjoy light-to-medium 'euro' games, love spatial organization, and enjoy nature and animal themes.
