About the game
In HATSUDEN, you and one opponent become rival engineers in an electrifying contest to see who dominates the city's power supply! The goal is straightforward: build renewable energy plants (solar, geothermal, wind, hydro, and biomass) and ensure the city receives the ideal amount of electricity. Each plant you build or upgrade adds a generation value, but be careful not to overdo it! If the total energy in a row exceeds 11, you'll have to convert some plants into simple pylons, which can be costly. The game is quick, with matches lasting around 15 to 30 minutes, but the tension is constant. You need to manage your special technology cards well, as they can turn the game in your favor, and keep an eye on your opponent's moves. Points are awarded both for the highest generation of each renewable energy type and for the exact amount of energy supplied to the city (10 is ideal, 8 or less penalizes you!). With a light weight, HATSUDEN is accessible to everyone but offers surprising twists until the very last moment. Who will become the most renowned HATSUDEN engineer? Prepare for a fierce and strategic competition!
