About the game
What you do in a play session
In Henchmania, you're a medieval lord with power-hungry ambitions and a crew of loyal (and slightly monstrous) henchmen. The game blends strategy and absurd humor, like Game of Thrones crashing into Monty Python at a tavern. Your goal? Dominate the city of Montfleury and rack up prestige points by conquering territories, pulling dirty tricks, or rolling dice with beginner's luck. Each round represents a 'day' of chaos, where you can gain (or lose) prestige in hilarious ways. The first to 30 points becomes the new seneschal—or you can keep the madness going for four full days if you prefer. Expect betrayals, underhanded moves, and lots of laughs!

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How many players can play?
2 to 5 players. Best with 4 or 5 for maximum alliances and betrayals.
How long does it take?
About 45-60 minutes, but can stretch if the group is very strategic (or very sneaky).
Is language-dependent?
Yes, moderate language dependency. Better with translated cards or a reference sheet.
Is it hard to learn?
BGG weight 2.1: medium-light. Rules are intuitive, but there's depth to explore.
Is it good for serious gamers?
If you dislike humor, it might feel silly. But the strategy is real—it just comes with jokes.
