About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a night of pure terror and adrenaline in "Horde of the Dead Minigame"! You are Giraffe, the unlikely hero trapped in a small inn with only the owner's daughter, Mari-chan, and the loyal dog Dogmeat for company. Night falls, and with it, a hungry horde of zombies decides the inn will be their feast. Inspired by tower defense games, your goal is to survive three nights of relentless attacks, protecting everyone, especially Mari-chan, who must not fall into the hands of the undead.
Using an action point system, you will guide Giraffe, Mari-chan, and Dogmeat through the inn's rooms. Strategically place barricades, purchase upgrades to strengthen your defenses, and, of course, fight bravely against the approaching waves of zombies. Luck also plays a role with dice rolls, which will determine the success of your actions and the fury of the enemies. All of this is tracked on paper with a pencil and eraser, where you manage equipment, hit points, and other important details. It's a fast-paced minigame, perfect for those who enjoy a dose of tension and strategy in a short amount of time, ideal for playing solo and feeling the pressure of being the last stand against the zombie apocalypse. If you like quick challenges with a horror theme and a touch of RPG, this is your chance to prove that a giraffe can be quite the hero!
