About the game
What you do in a play session
In Im Bann der Pyramide, you step into the shoes of a fearless archaeologist, embarking on an exciting journey to uncover the secrets of a newly discovered pyramid and, perhaps, find the king's chamber! Get ready for an adventure full of twists and turns, where every corridor and chamber hides both treasures and dangers. The game invites you to explore in depth, using special equipment that will help you overcome challenges. But don't think it will be easy: you'll encounter one adventure after another, requiring strategy and a bit of luck to emerge unscathed and with glory.
The game components include 5 adventure cards (both sides usable, increasing replayability), a king's chamber card (also double-sided), 5 archaeologist pawns in distinct colors for each player, a warehouse, and a deck of 54 pyramid cards. Of these, 36 are equipment cards, essential for your exploration, and 18 are special cards, which can change the course of the game at any moment. Interestingly, this title is a remake of 'Der Schatz des Pharaos', but with a few minor rule tweaks to refine the experience. It's a light and fast card game, perfect for those looking for an Egyptian adventure with plenty of player interaction.
