About the game
Sister Nuna is a strategy and humor game that blends action, dice, and worker placement in a colonial Brazilian setting of 1804. Players take on the role of vampire aristocrats vying for the vitality of villagers to feed their thirst for power. Each turn begins with placing village cards around a rondel representing Sister Nuna herself. Meeples are positioned in villages according to each player’s strategy and then move clockwise, executing the cards’ actions. These actions shift Sister Nuna’s position and the distribution of meeples, creating a “take that” dynamic among players. At the end of each round, all meeples in the village where Sister Nuna points are exorcised and do not receive the vitality reward. Surviving meeples collect vitality, and the next round begins. The ultimate goal is to accumulate the most vitality, making the player the winning aristocrat. The game combines classic mechanics such as dice rolling, worker placement, and progressive turn order, along with humor and a medieval‑fantasy theme. The presence of vampires and a powerful nun who gains divine powers adds a fun and unexpected narrative layer. The variety of village cards and constant player interaction ensure each game is unique and full of quick strategic decisions. Components include 1 rondel, 4 worker tokens, 60 village cards, a six‑sided die, 4 vitality tokens, and an exorcism marker. The game is suitable for 2‑4 players, lasts 30‑60 minutes, and offers a moderate complexity that blends simple rules with tactical decisions. The atmosphere is playful and full of jokes about colonial life and vampires, making it perfect for groups that enjoy relaxed fun. It’s ideal for fans of strategy games, humor, and medieval fantasy themes.
