About the game
What you do in a play session
In *Isle of Bears*, you step into a not-so-distant future where the Arctic is gone and polar bears drift in search of a new home. The catch? The islands they find are already occupied by black bears. This two-player abstract strategy game pits you against each other as you control a group of bears (white or black) and a deck of action cards. Your goal is to dominate the territory by stacking, moving, or even removing bears from the board. Each turn, you play a card to perform actions like stacking bears (whoever's on top controls the space!), scattering groups, or causing overcrowding—which can wipe out rival bears in one go. The board shrinks as bear-less islands sink, and victory comes when all remaining bear stacks are your color. Can you secure a future for your bears before summer ends?
