About the game
What you do in a play session
In Jerusalem, players are transported to the intriguing city of Jerusalem in the 12th century, a period of intense power struggles. The Crusader Houses already ruled the city, but the question was: who would rule over them? Your role is to delve into the politics of the holy city, using your resources to secure control of the most strategic districts and, in the process, erect an imposing castle that demonstrates your supremacy over rivals. Prove yourself the most astute Baron and claim your rightful place as the ruler of Jerusalem!
The main objective is to dominate the key sectors of the city: the King, the Church, the Market, the Military, the Nobility, and the iconic Tower of David. To achieve this, you'll need to gain the favor of important figures, such as the Constable, and strategically position your Men and Barons in these locations. Whoever has the greatest force in an area reaps the profits, which can be more Men, Gold, or Points for building the Tower. With these new resources, you can further strengthen your position in the city. At the end of each round, it's possible to add new floors to your Tower, and you'll also need to deal with Special Privileges and unexpected Events that will arise. At the end of the game, the Baron with the tallest Tower will be the grand winner, and their family will reign supreme over Jerusalem!
