In 1413, Henry V of Lancaster ascends the English throne with a bold plan: unify the realm and seize the French crown. Each player commands an ambitious aristocratic family, and over about 60 minutes they strive to become the king's most influential ally. Victory comes from three fronts: developing personal knights, placing noble workers in English counties, in one's own castle, or in battles against France, and manipulating Parliament to pass laws that benefit the family. The game blends worker placement (with multiple worker types), auctions for reward tiles, and law voting, all wrapped in area control – the player who dominates more counties gains extra influence. The Big Box includes the base game, two expansions (The New Laws and Henry V – The Power of the King, which itself contains At the King's Court and The King's Resentment), a set of reward tiles, and a new‑art board. This all‑in‑one package provides everything a Lancaster fan needs to dive into medieval politics without hunting down extra components. At the end, the player with the most strength points – earned from territories, knights, approved laws, and rewards – claims the title of England's most powerful lord.
