RECOMMENDED
Hey there, explorer! How about an adrenaline-filled adventure on a mysterious island? In Karuba, you and your team of adventurers have just disembarked, and the mission is clear: be the first to reach the hidden temples in the dense jungle. But it's not as simple as it sounds! Each player has their own identical board, and gameplay is simultaneous, kind of like a strategic bingo. One player draws a path tile, and all other players must decide where to place it on their own boards. The goal is to create the most efficient path for their explorers to reach the temples of the same color, while also collecting gold nuggets and precious crystals that appear along the way. Each item collected and each temple reached is worth points, but the race is relentless. You need to be quick and clever, because the best treasures await the first to arrive! Keep an eye on your opponents, as they are building their own paths and might give you a clue (or mislead you!) about the best route. The game ends when one player manages to get all their explorers to their corresponding temples or when all path tiles have been used. Whoever has the most points at the end takes the glory and treasures of Karuba!

What is the complexity level of the game?
With a BGG weight of 1.4234/5, Karuba is considered a light game. The rules are simple to understand, but optimizing paths can be a fun challenge.
Are the components of good quality?
Yes, HABA is known for its high-quality components, and Karuba is no exception. The path tiles and treasures are well-made and durable.
