About the game

What you do in a play session

In King Chocolate, you won't just plant cacao and wait for magic to happen. The real money is in controlling the production chain, and to get your slice of the pie (or rather, chocolate bar!), you need to be smarter than the competition. Figure out how to make the cacao flow through your factories and not your rivals'! Sometimes, lending a hand to your customers and suppliers can bring good returns, but the real game is manipulating the market, creating monopolies, and perhaps even making others work for you. The journey from cacao bean to chocolate bar has six stages, and you only master a few. The trick is to collaborate just enough to keep things running, without forgetting that whoever accumulates the most money at the end is king. It's an economic strategy game where every decision counts, from where to place your factories using tile placement and worker placement, to which cards to play from your hand and how to manage your action points. With each game, the modular board ensures that the race for the cacao route is always fresh and challenging. Prepare for a fierce competition where diplomacy is a weapon and greed is the engine!
