About the game
In Kokopelli, players dive into a universe of rituals and ceremonies, where each receives a personalized 36-card deck, composed of three copies of twelve distinct ceremonies (the base game features sixteen different ceremony types). Your goal is to initiate and complete ceremonies to earn victory points. Each player has a personal board with space for four ceremonies, but the twist is that your play area expands to include the two closest spaces on your neighbors' boards, totaling eight action spaces.

During your turn, you have a few strategic options: you can draw a card to replenish your hand, start a new ceremony on your board (as long as there isn't one of that type already active in your expanded play area), or play a card from your hand into any ongoing ceremony in your play area. Once started, a ceremony grants a continuous special ability until it is completed. To complete a ceremony, you must play the fourth card onto it. By doing so, you earn a victory point token and, if applicable, place an end-game token. The game concludes when all end-game tokens have been distributed, and the player with the most victory points is crowned the grand ceremonial leader. It's a game that blends hand management with interesting interaction in a shared play area.
