Know that quick card game you can squeeze in between other matches? Number Chain is exactly that, but with a mathematical twist that will give your brain a little workout (in a good way!). The goal is straightforward: you want to get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible. How? By creating connecting number sequences. Each card features two digits, but keep an eye on those question marks (?); they are your best friends, acting as wildcards for whatever number you need to complete your chain.

The game flows through a system of conditions that shifts the pace of the match. In 'Pivot' mode, you need the first digit of your card to match the last digit of the card on the table. But don't be fooled; things get interesting when the marker switches to 'Relay' mode, where the connection logic changes and you might be able to dump a whole bunch of cards at once. If you manage to build a sequence of three consecutive numbers, you get a bonus action to play again, which is every player's dream when trying to empty their hand!

But it's not just about playing cards. If you're stuck and can't make a move, you can choose to draw cards from the deck or the pool to replenish your hand. The game ends when someone successfully empties their hand, but watch out: anyone left with cards at the end of the rounds accumulates penalty points. Wildcards are the most dangerous in this regard, costing more points if you can't get rid of them. After three rounds, the player with the lowest score wins. It's a fast-paced game, perfect for those who love quick mathematical puzzles and want something that won't eat up your whole night, but still demands total focus on every number played.
