Imagine that you and your friends have stepped into a retro videogame and now you must help Izzy beat the game! In Level 10, the goal is simple on paper but tense in practice: you need to complete 10 levels across 5 different game worlds. This means filling a 5x10 grid with cards, but it's not just about playing them randomly. You need a solid strategy to fit all 40 level cards and 10 reset cards in the right spots.
The real twist here is the communication. Forget about saying 'play card X now'. In Level 10, hands are kept secret, and you can only make very subtle suggestions. It's the kind of game that tests the group's synergy: can you figure out what your teammate is thinking without speaking openly? If a player gets stuck and cannot play a valid card on their turn, it's an immediate Game Over for everyone, and Izzy loses the match.
Originally released as Okey Dokey (with a music festival theme), the Level 10 version brings a videogame vibe that fits perfectly with the progression mechanics. It's a fast-paced game, with sessions lasting around half an hour, but it leaves that 'so close!' feeling when you lose because of a single card. If you enjoy cooperative games where the tension comes from limited information and victory depends on silent planning, this is for you. Whether playing solo to test your logic or with a group to see who the best 'silent strategist' is, the challenge is constant and the satisfaction of completing the grid is huge.
