Ever imagined trying to build something monumental while everyone around you seems to be speaking Greek? In Bable, that is exactly your problem! This is a cooperative card game where the goal is to rebuild the legendary Tower of Babel, but there's a catch: communication is your greatest enemy. As the tower rises, players' languages shift, turning what used to be a clear command into an impossible enigma to decipher.
The gameplay is quite unique and will test your patience and group synergy. On your turn, you don't actually do anything yourself! You cannot build, draw, or reveal cards on your own; instead, your role is to issue orders to other players to perform those tasks. You will always have four types of actions available: build, draw, give, and reveal, but the real trick is that the words used to describe these actions change as the game progresses. Instead of relying on vocabulary, you'll have to learn to read the symbols and grasp your partners' logic.
The construction is divided into four progressive layers. To complete each level, the group must manage their resources and materials before the corresponding idea deck runs out. It is a race against time and linguistic chaos. If you can coordinate your actions and manage your hand effectively, the tower will stand tall. Otherwise, chaos will reign, and the construction will fail. It is a fast-paced game, perfect for those who love challenges that make everyone laugh (or scream in frustration) while trying to understand one another!
