About the game
Ever wondered what it's like to figure out who you are without being able to just ask? In Disciple Detective, that's exactly the challenge. You start the game with a set of Disciple cards in your hand, but there's a catch: you can't see them, but everyone else at the table can. Your mission is to use logic and intuition to deduce the identity of each card based on clues provided by your fellow players.

The gameplay revolves around three primary actions. You can request a 'Trait Clue', where another player points out which cards share a specific trait, such as a common origin. You can also 'Order Players' Hands', arranging the cards in chronological order. Then comes the moment of truth: 'Guess a Disciple'. If you get it right, the card is discarded, and you might even earn a free action or a Clue Token. Be careful, though! Every action consumes Clue Tokens, and if the team runs out, it's game over.

To spice things up, the game introduces 'Quirks'. Certain disciples don't follow the standard rules: Judas might lie about his traits, while Peter might insist on being at the end of the line during ordering. These quirks turn a simple deduction game into a psychological puzzle that keeps everyone on their toes.

The game offers great flexibility with its modes. In the cooperative version, the group works together to identify all disciples in the deck before the tokens run out. In the competitive version, it becomes a race: the first person to deduce their starting group wins. It's a fast-paced, light experience that stimulates logical reasoning, perfect for those who enjoy deduction games with an educational and religious theme.
