About the game

What you do in a play session

If you enjoy the vibe of classic card games but want something with a premium feel, Lexio is your game! It is based on the traditional Chinese 'Zheng Shangyou' system, making it very similar to the famous 'Big Two'. The real twist here is that instead of paper cards, you play with beautiful tiles reminiscent of Mah Jong, adding a touch of high quality to your table. The goal is simple yet strategic: you need to form combinations of tiles to empty your hand as quickly as possible. The game uses a specific hierarchy: there are four symbols (Sun, Moon, Star, and Cloud) and numbers ranging from 1 to 15. But heads up, the logic is inverted: the number 2 is the absolute king, the strongest of all, while 3 is the weakest. During play, the first player leads with a tile or a set, and others must decide whether to beat that play with something stronger or pass. If everyone passes, the player who played the last strongest combination leads the next round. The round ends when someone successfully empties their hand. That's when things get intense! Players pay points or chips based on performance and the number of tiles remaining in their hands. The game is played over five rounds, and the player with the most points at the end wins. It's a fast-paced game of constant decisions, perfect for those who love a mental challenge without needing a hundred-page manual.
