Limit is a competitive strategy game that puts you in charge of a nation in a world full of real challenges. Each game can last from 60 to 150 minutes and accommodates 1 to 6 players, but it also works well solo thanks to a solid solitaire mechanic. The goal is to balance growth and resilience by making political decisions that affect your population, economy, and international relations. You manage resources, respond to global crises, and try to keep your nation strong in the face of unexpected events. The game unfolds over up to seven generations, but it can end early if, together with opponents, four global crises are triggered. Each generation has three phases: Politics, where you buy and play cards; Social, where the population reacts to your decisions; and International, where crises arise and alliances are formed. At the end, there is a resilience test phase where you redo food, consumption, and production steps without new crises to see if your nation can withstand it. Then the final score is calculated by combining gross internal happiness, financial power, territory, military power, and negative impacts such as pollution and destabilization. The design blends event, income, and solitaire mechanics, creating a tense and strategic experience that tests both long‑term planning and quick decision‑making under unexpected crises. It’s perfect for fans of civilization, economic, and political simulation games who want a challenge that requires both strategic foresight and rapid improvisation.
