About the game
Picture the final stages of World War II in Italy's Po Valley. German forces are collapsing, with disorganized divisions and dwindling fuel. The once-feared Panzerwaffe is now reduced to isolated pockets of tanks, desperately fighting to hold back the Allied advance. In this landscape of farms, villages, marshland, and narrow roads, tanks no longer operate in massed formations. Instead, single vehicles are thrown forward to plug gaps, delay Allied spearheads, or hold vital crossroads.

In *Lone Panther*, you take command of one such tank, a Panther Ausf. G, operating alone, cut off from its parent battalion, and relying solely on its crew. Allied forces push north relentlessly, with British armor probing ahead, infantry screens advancing through the fields, and fighter-bombers circling overhead searching for targets of opportunity. In this crucial phase of the Italian campaign, a single Panther can still shape the battlefield – if its Commander keeps his nerve.

While not strictly a narrative-driven game, *Lone Panther* promises to provide memorable stories with a little imagination. Some events are randomly generated, but you always have some degree of control over the level of risk you wish to take and how vulnerable you leave your tank. The game is designed to be easy to learn and fun to play, functioning as a solitaire wargame where the enemy is controlled by the game's artificial intelligence. You will need 7 to 9 standard six-sided dice to play. The game includes 10 highly replayable missions with full-color maps and clear instructions. It is highly recommended that the counters provided on the final page of the game are used, which can be printed, stuck to card, and cut out.
