Lux Aeterna

In Lux Aeterna, you find yourself alone in space, aboard a ship that's falling apart and dangerously drifting towards a black hole. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and you don't have much choice, do you?), is to survive this impending catastrophe. The game is a race against time, where you need to play all the cards from the main deck before your spaceship collapses completely or is swallowed by the black hole's gravity. The cool part is that each card has multiple functions, and each turn, you decide how to use them. You can assign a card to deal damage to one of your ship's six systems, use another as a vital action to repair something or stay alive, or even use it to control the ship's movement towards the black hole. If a system fails, things get even more tense, but repairing one might be your salvation. To spice things up even further, unexpected events called 'glitches' can appear in the deck, making your journey even more challenging. And as if that weren't enough, the game is played in real-time and can be shortened, from 12 to 10 or even 8 minutes, increasing the pressure and the need for quick decisions. It's an intense and immersive solo challenge, perfect for those who enjoy a good dose of science fiction and want to test their reflexes and strategy under pressure.
