About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a race against time in X-Code! This cooperative game pits you and your friends against the clock to crack a secret code before the hourglass runs out. The mission seems simple, but the execution is pure adrenaline: fill each board space with three identical cards, including the # and * wilds. As soon as the sand starts falling, organized chaos takes over. Each player starts with three cards, and the frenzy begins. You can draw, discard, and crucially, trade cards with your neighbors. But beware: trades are directional! Each card has an arrow indicating who you can trade with – left or right. Your neighbor must be willing to accept the trade and give you something in return. Wild cards are your best friends for completing sequences. As soon as you form a trio of identical cards, rush to place it on the correct space on the board. Each completed set not only unlocks a part of the code but can also grant you precious extra seconds by flipping the hourglass again. If all spaces are successfully filled, you win together and can brag about cracking another level. It's a fast-paced, chaotic game that demands communication (even if it's shouting!) to succeed. Perfect for those who enjoy games that push you to your limits in a fun way.
