Fire up your awesome mix and gather your crew, because the Guardians of the Galaxy are here to shake things up! In Marvel United: Guardians of the Galaxy Remix, you and your friends take control of the iconic trio — Star-Lord, Rocket, and Groot — in a desperate race against time. The catch? Ronan the Accuser has finally had enough of the Guardians interfering with the Kree's self-proclaimed righteous wars, and he's determined to wipe them out permanently. Wielding his godlike Universal Weapon, Ronan is one of the most formidable foes the group has ever faced, making the fight an uphill battle if you don't coordinate your moves.
The real strength of this expansion is its versatility. You can dive into the pure galactic experience using only the characters and locations from this set, or you can create a total 'remix' by mixing the Guardians with heroes and villains from other expansions of the base game. This allows for endless combinations and battle scenarios, letting you build your own dream Marvel team.
Beyond the new characters, the expansion introduces the 'Plan B Challenge.' This mechanic can be added to any game, not just the galactic ones. Plan B replaces the standard missions with alternative objectives that are considerably harder to achieve. However, in true Guardian fashion, there's a way to cheat the system: if you manage to complete all three missions, you can win the game by completely bypassing the villain. It's the perfect representation of space improvisation! Whether you defeat Ronan in direct combat or frustrate his plans until he gives up the hunt, the fun is guaranteed in fast-paced, tactical, and action-packed sessions.
