About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for total chaos in New York! Clash of the Sinister Six isn't just another expansion; it's a complete twist on the Marvel Zombies experience. The highlight here is the introduction of the 'Team vs Team' mode, where cooperation makes way for an epic showdown. On one side, super-heroes fighting for survival; on the other, zombie heroes looking to turn everything into a feast. Each side assembles a team of 3 to 6 characters, striving to annihilate the opponent while completing mini-objectives across the map to gain tactical advantages.

To spice things up, the game introduces Teamwork cards. These are exclusive to this mode and enable powerful combos, but they require strategy: you must time your plays perfectly to surprise your opponent, who won't know your plan until the card is revealed. The tension of bluffing and secret tactics completely transforms the table dynamic.

Beyond the new game mode, the expansion grows the city with two iconic new locations: the New York Subway System and Central Park. These new areas bring fresh missions, both for the competitive mode and traditional cooperative play, and can be merged with the base game tiles to create sprawling arenas for even more massive battles. It's the perfect chance to build that epic battlefield you've always wanted.

One crucial detail for potential buyers: to fully enjoy the Team vs Team mode, you'll need two base games on the table: Marvel Zombies and X-Men Resistance. This is because the mode requires both sides (super-heroes and zombie heroes) to have their respective characters available for the fight. If you already own the collection, this is the ultimate upgrade to add layers of strategy and competitiveness to your Marvel zombie apocalypse.
