About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever wondered what would happen if the Avengers decided that instead of saving the world, they'd rather... eat it? In Marvel Zombies: A Zombicide Game, that's exactly the premise. Forget about being the survivor trying to escape the horde; here, you ARE the horde! You take control of iconic heroes from the Marvel Universe who have been infected by a devastating virus. The twist is a total reversal: your goal is to spread the plague and satisfy the insatiable Hunger consuming the minds of these decayed heroes.
The game utilizes the established mechanical foundation of the Zombicide line, meaning if you've played any title in the series, you'll feel right at home. You manage action points to move, attack, and complete specific scenario objectives. But don't think it'll be a walk in the park: while you're trying to devour the population, uninfected heroes and SHIELD agents are doing everything in their power to stop the zombie advance.
Each character retains part of their personality and, more importantly, their extraordinary powers, but now everything is twisted to serve a carnivorous instinct. With a modular board that changes every game and varied missions, the experience is dynamic and cooperative. You and your friends must coordinate attacks to ensure the Hunger is satisfied and the infection spreads. It's a miniatures game filled with action, dice rolling, and the chaotic satisfaction of seeing the Marvel world turn into an all-you-can-eat brain buffet. If you love the 'what if' vibe of the comics and enjoy cooperative games with tactical combat, this title is the perfect choice for causing mayhem on your table.
