About the game
Matching 4U is a compact, fast-paced card game that blends closed drafting, set collection, and trick-taking into just a 15‑minute session. Two to three players each start with eight cards, but instead of picking once, they draft in rounds: two cards are drawn, one is chosen, and the other is returned to the pool until all hands are replenished. This keeps the information private and forces players to anticipate opponents’ choices. Once drafting ends, the trick‑taking phase kicks in: players play one card each, and the highest card of the chosen suit or trump wins the trick. The trick winner collects the selected card and places it face‑up in front of them for scoring at the end of the round. What sets Matching 4U apart is that each card carries set‑collection bonuses—collecting diamonds, pairs of shoes, or perfumes can multiply your score. Players must balance the pursuit of high‑value cards to win tricks against building sets to maximize points. The game ends after three rounds, and the highest scorer wins. With a 64‑card deck, score markers, and a simple layout, the game delivers strategic depth in a short, thematic experience that appeals to both classic card‑game lovers and those craving a quick, fashion‑themed twist.
