HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
In Meadow, you transform into a true explorer, competing to be the most skilled nature observer. The game is a visual delight, featuring over two hundred unique cards showcasing hand-painted watercolor illustrations, capturing the beauty of species, landscapes, and discoveries. Your goal is simple yet challenging: collect the most valuable cards to accumulate points.
During the game, which can be played by 1 to 4 people, you take turns placing path tokens on one of two available boards. On the main board, placing a token allows you to draw cards. But beware: to play them, you must meet specific requirements, creating a strategic puzzle of hand management and set collection. On the bonfire board, your actions are different. There, you activate special abilities that can boost your strategy and help you achieve objectives worth extra points.
The game unfolds with you building your personal area, your 'meadow' and its surroundings, layer by layer, with the cards you acquire. In the end, the explorer with the highest score, combining collected cards and bonfire objectives, is crowned the grand winner. And there's a bonus: some editions come with mysterious envelopes, filled with additional cards to open at specific moments of your discovery journey!
