About the game

What you do in a play session

Your home planet is running out of resources, and the only way out is to send mining teams to a neighboring planet full of riches but with a hostile environment. In Mining Colony, you'll compete to build the most efficient colony, using excavation cards to gather resources and development tiles to expand your territory. The game takes place over 10 rounds, each with three phases: discover, excavate, and develop. In the discovery phase, new resources are revealed and placed in excavation zones. Then, players use their cards to compete for these resources in strategic auctions. Finally, in the development phase, you place the tiles you've won on your personal board, trying to create valuable combinations of ships, colonists, and crystals. In solo mode, the challenge is to beat an automated opponent while completing your colony. With auction and tile-placement mechanics, Mining Colony is perfect for fans of space-themed games with a dash of strategy and competition.
