About the game
Get ready to travel back in time and command the first great civilization of Europe! In Minos: Dawn of the Bronze Age, you aren't a bloodthirsty conqueror, but rather the leader of a Minoan clan striving to ensure prosperity and peace for your people on the mystical island of Crete. The goal is clear: prove your clan is worthy of the title of Minos in just four intense rounds.

The heart of the game lies in your planning and dice management. Forget the idea of just rolling dice and hoping for the best; here, you'll use a programming system. You must choose your dice and assign them to an action board. And here is the kicker: lower-value dice guarantee more powerful and secure actions, while higher-value dice are essential for climbing progress tracks and unlocking long-term benefits. It's a constant balance between what you need now and what you need for the future.

Throughout the rounds, you'll build cities, erecting monuments and creating trade routes to expand your influence. You'll also need to manage your clan council, issuing decrees that can provide the edge needed to outperform your rivals. Additionally, building a personal tableau is key, allowing each card or special action to uniquely enhance your moves. If you enjoy civilization games that blend medium-weight strategy with rich themes and clever drafting mechanics, Minos will keep you hooked from start to finish!
