About the game

What you do in a play session

A routine investigation turns into a nightmare when a group of schoolgirls mysteriously disappears. When the detective finally finds them, something is terribly wrong: some seem normal, others act strangely, and some might not even be human. Malevolent spirits have disguised themselves among the survivors, and only keen observation will uncover the truth. Missing Girl is a social deduction and bluffing party game where players alternate between being the Detective and controlling the identities of the Students and the Ghosts. Each round, the Detective uses Tool cards (featuring various foods) to interrogate the suspects, asking whether a specific individual can eat that item. Real Students must answer truthfully based on their dietary restrictions, while the Ghosts are free to lie and bluff to deceive the Detective. At the end, the Detective must decide who to save: choosing only Students grants points, but selecting a Ghost hands the points to the spirits. Roles rotate each round until everyone has been the Detective, and the player with the most points wins.
