About the game
What you do in a play session
Moose Match Mayhem is a lightning‑fast card game that throws everyone into the hustle of a northern wilderness teeming with moose, bears and squirrels. Each round, players flip cards simultaneously and, in a collective shout of "Moose, Match, Mayhem!", race to snatch the best card to add to their herd. The goal? Assemble three complete sets – three animals of the same type and color – before anyone else. Wild cards can stand in for any animal, smoothing set‑building, while special cards crank up the tension: grabbing two Yetis forces you to discard your entire herd, and Avalanche cards punish the player who grabs too eagerly. Completed sets are set aside, safe from further effects, and the first player to collect three sets wins. The game runs 10‑15 minutes, supports 3‑6 players, and boasts a near‑zero learning curve, making it perfect for parties, family gatherings or quick filler sessions. With a BGG weight of 1/5, the experience is light, chaotic and laugh‑filled, ideal for fans of fast‑paced, set‑collection games with a dash of risk. If you love speed, simple strategy and a lot of interaction, Moose Match Mayhem will have you coming back for more each round.
