About the game
What you do in a play session
Step into the Age of Creation with Mystic Lands, the fresh chapter that expands the Mystic Vale universe. You take on the role of an ancient druid tasked with shaping a world still in its infancy before the Blight’s corruption. By drawing mana from the land, beasts, and waters, you balance sun and rain, craft flora and fauna, and open magical pathways. Each turn you purchase Advances that upgrade cards already in your domain and can activate Vales—sacred sites that grant varied effects and rewards. Your deck grows as you add Advances, and when it runs out you shuffle the discard pile into a new deck, keeping the game in constant motion. The win condition is straightforward: be the first to reach 25 Victory Points or place 10 cubes in your Vales. Once someone hits that mark, the game ends after the final Day and Dusk round, and everyone tallies points, cubes and Advances. The mechanics blend Deck, Bag and Pool Building, Open Drafting, Push‑Your‑Luck, and Variable Set‑up, ensuring each play‑through feels fresh. Artwork reminiscent of stained‑glass windows reinforces a Celtic mystic atmosphere. With a 2/5 weight, Mystic Lands offers strategic depth without overwhelming complexity, perfect for fans of thematic card games, light exploration, and calculated risk. If you loved Mystic Vale, you’ll be even more enchanted watching your own creation story unfold with every decision. Get ready to pilgrimage across living Vales, turn barren lands into thriving oases, and most of all, have a blast crafting a world that lives only in your imagination.
