About the game
Prepare to dive even deeper with the "Bold and Caring" expansion for Nemo's War (Second Edition)! This gem adds two new paths for Captain Nemo: Adventure and Humanist. And as any seasoned player knows, each motive feels like a whole new game! In the Adventure mode, you get extra actions and special Adventure tokens that can yield incredible rewards if you dare to pursue them. Plus, there's a new Nautilus upgrade, the Diving Apparatus, which aids in tests and helps keep the Adventure deck stocked with surprises (and gemstones!). The Humanist path, on the other hand, puts Captain Nemo on a mission to improve the plight of common people. Potentially starting with the Hospital Machines upgrade, you can use 'Diplomacy Attacks' to interact with other ships. The challenge here is managing Notoriety, but successful diplomacy opens three avenues: Further Diplomatic Relations, Create a Diplomatic Incident, or Gather Support. Incitement cubes transform into 'Goodwill cubes,' and the more nations you parley with, the higher your bonus score! This expansion introduces new components like upgrade cards, a new motive tile, treasure and adventure tokens, and a diplomatic attack token. Remember: you need the base game to enjoy this extra voyage!
