About the game
What you do in a play session
In 1700, the death of King Carlos II of Spain without an heir ignited one of Europe's greatest 18th-century conflicts: the War of the Spanish Succession. In 'No Peace Without Spain!', you take on the role of one side in this epic struggle — the Bourbons, led by France, or the Alliance, representing the Habsburgs. The game is a card-driven wargame blending deep strategy with an intuitive battle system. Each card in your hand can be used to move troops, initiate sieges, or trigger historical events that turn the tide of war. Leaders like the Duke of Marlborough or Marshal Villars bring unique abilities that shape the battlefield. The map highlights the importance of fortresses, and the siege system captures their unpredictability — sometimes a city falls quickly, other times it holds against all odds. With yearly turns and units representing 10,000 men, every decision matters. Can you rewrite history?
