About the game

What you do in a play session

In Nottingham, the Sheriff is in a tight spot and needs to find a way to keep his position! To do that, he sends his most trusted deputies to collect overdue taxes throughout the city. The reward? Whoever is the best collector gets promoted to Chief Assistant! But don't be fooled, in this race for cash and position, it's even acceptable to 'bump into' colleagues to snatch what they've gathered.

This card game is a fierce competition where you, as one of the deputies, need to manage your hand well to collect the right resources and, perhaps, 'deal with' your rivals. With an auction and bidding system, you'll have to be clever to amass the most wealth and prove you're the most competent (or the most cunning). Nottingham offers a quick and fun experience, perfect for those who enjoy a touch of bluffing and strategy in short games. The components are simple but effectively bring the theme to the table, with cards representing the goods to be collected and the actions that can be taken. Get ready for a light game, but with decisions that can weigh heavily in your pursuit of promotion!
