About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for an unforgettable tour through the vibrant 1920s with On Tour: Paris & New York! In this standalone game, which expands on the original On Tour design, you and your friends (or just you, if you prefer a solo adventure!) take on the role of jazz musicians chasing fame, trying to play in as many clubs as possible across the magnificent cities of Paris and New York. The goal is simple: plot the longest and most efficient route between these musical hotspots. Each round is a show in itself: two ten-sided dice are rolled, generating two two-digit numbers (for example, a 3 and a 7 can become 37 and 73). All players simultaneously choose where to write these numbers on their individual maps. The regions where you can write are determined by cards face up in the center of the table, adding a layer of strategy and adaptability. And to make the journey even more exciting, you'll have the chance to use riverboats and ferries to move around the cities, opening up new possibilities for your journey to jazz legend status. At the end of the game, each player draws their route, starting with a low number and connecting adjacent locations with progressively higher numbers. Each visited location in this sequence is worth one point. It's a challenge of planning with a touch of luck, perfect for those who enjoy optimizing paths and living a good story!
