Get ready to step into a labyrinth of pure fantasy! In Onirim, you become a Dreamwalker, a wanderer of dreams tasked with finding eight magical doors before your time runs out. Fail, and you'll be trapped in this dreamscape forever. This is a psychological survival experience where you and a partner (or you alone, as it shines in solo mode) must manage your hand with extreme precision.
The big catch? The deck is not your friend. While you strive to collect matching colored symbols to open doors or use powerful keys, Nightmares are lurking in the shadows. These hidden cards within the deck can wreck your plans, forcing you to face tactical dilemmas and unwanted discards. The 'move through deck' mechanic builds mounting tension: every card drawn could be your path to victory or the start of an endless nightmare.
This Second Edition is a massive content powerhouse. It doesn't just bring the base game; it includes seven standalone expansion modules! This means you can heavily customize your experience. Want more difficulty with 'Dead End' cards that clog your hand? Or perhaps you want to explore the 'Oniverse' with new inhabitants and unique abilities? The choice is yours. There are even variants using a special meeple to tweak the difficulty, making it perfect for casual players or those seeking a high-level strategic challenge. It is a game of stunning art, elegant mechanics, and an atmosphere that grips you from the very first turn.
