About the game

What you do in a play session

In Aerion you become an air‑shipwright tasked with assembling the most dazzling fleet the Oniverse has ever known. The game is solo or cooperative for one or two players, blending dice rolling, open drafting, and set collection. Each round starts with a pool of blueprint, material and crew cards laid out. Players take turns selecting cards, using dice to determine whether the acquisition succeeds. Discarding cards can tweak future rolls, but resources are finite, so you must manage them wisely. The ultimate goal is to build six distinct airships, each requiring a specific combination of components and a qualified crew. As you progress you assemble parts, fine‑tune designs, and finally assess whether the fleet is ready in time. Six expansion modules add new blueprints, challenges and strategic options, yet the base game already offers a complete experience in about fifteen minutes. The "push your luck" element shows up during dice phases, where you decide whether to keep rolling for a better outcome or settle for what you have. Vibrant artwork depicts the Oniverse skies and fantastical machines, reinforcing the dreamy, inventive atmosphere. While the learning curve is gentle enough for newcomers, the strategic depth keeps seasoned gamers engaged. If you enjoy quick games, love building things, and appreciate either cooperative play or solo challenges, Aerion might just become your next tabletop obsession.
