About the game
What you do in a play session
Nautilion is a dice game that belongs to the Oniverse series, bringing a splash of submarine adventure to the tabletop. You take command of a submarine called Nautilion and are tasked with assembling a heroic crew to confront the dreaded Darkhouse lurking in the ocean’s depths. The goal is to reach the Abyss, the Darkhouse’s lair, before the Phantom Submarine – the villain’s henchman – gets to the Happy Isles, its home base. But defeating the Darkhouse isn’t just about speed; you also need to gather all nine crew tokens along the way.
On each turn, you roll three six‑sided dice and assign one to each figure: the Nautilion, the Phantom Submarine, and the Darkhouse. The Nautilion and the Phantom Submarine move along a path made up of crew tokens. When the Nautilion lands on a token, it joins your crew; when the Phantom Submarine lands on a token, that token is lost. Only four copies of each of the nine tokens exist, so you must choose wisely. The Darkhouse doesn’t move, but it deals damage whenever it receives a high‑value die. To win, you must reach the Abyss with a full crew of nine distinct tokens. The base game already includes five expansions that add new crew members, powers, betrayals, and challenges, keeping the experience fresh each time you play.
