About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for an epic adventure in the Andes, where your best friend is a llama! In P'achakuna, you and your opponent take control of llamas (one white and one black) to navigate a terrain that never stops changing. The secret here is that the map is alive: the board pieces are thick, and you can literally rotate or even remove parts of the terrain to clear a path or block your opponent. White llamas prefer the comfort of green valleys, while black llamas are experts at scaling arid mountains. Your goal? Deliver colorful dyes to the villages on the edges of the map. If you deliver the dye the village is asking for, you get bonuses; if not, you just make the swap. As you deliver colors, you can even acquire new llamas for your herd, but watch out: you can only have up to three at a time. The game is a light strategic race of resource management and spatial awareness. To win, you must be the first to place seven different colors on your scoring track. It's a strategic game that requires you to think one step ahead in route building. Oh, and a special detail: the game supports local communities by using handmade fabric bags from Bolivia and Peru. It's fun with a purpose!
