About the game
PARKS invites you on a visually stunning journey through the US National Parks, featuring inspiring art from the Fifty-Nine Parks series. In this board game, you and your friends take on the role of two hikers exploring diverse trails across four seasons of the year. As you advance, your hikers perform actions and collect 'memories' of the places visited, represented by resource tokens like mountains and forests. The goal is to accumulate these resources in sets to 'visit' National Parks, acquiring Park cards at the end of each hike. Each trail corresponds to a season, and with each new season, the path transforms and lengthens, with the trail tiles being reshuffled and laid out in a new configuration. Obtaining the right resources can be a challenge, especially if another hiker is already in your way! But don't worry, campfires allow you to share spaces with other players, and canteens and gear can be used to optimize your resource collection throughout the game. The challenge is to balance building your resource 'engine' with spending to visit the parks. At the end of the year, the Park cards and photos you've collected will determine the winner. Get ready for a strategic and relaxing adventure!
