About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your heart (and your claws) ready, because war has arrived, and it is incredibly cute! In Paw of Duty, you aren't commanding steel tanks or elite soldiers, but rather highly trained kitty squads on a mission to reclaim a war-torn city. Yes, it's a wargame, but with much more purring and feline strategy involved.
This is a tactical two-player duel where each player takes on the role of a feline commander. You'll have specialized units at your disposal: the agile Huntresses, the strategic Pilots, and the sturdy Tanks (yes, cat tanks!). The goal is to dominate the territory and ensure feline supremacy. To achieve this, you'll need to use your Tactic Cards to issue precise commands. The real magic lies in the position-based combo system: by queuing up your actions and placing your kitties in the right spots, you can capture enemy units or seize control of crucial spaces on the map.
You can approach the game in two ways: focusing on superior unit placement to dominate the battlefield, or playing more aggressively by capturing enemy cats to amass victory points by the end of the showdown. It's a card game with a surprisingly deep tactical layer, where every move counts and a single positioning error could lead to a defeat as dreaded as a cat being given a bath. If you enjoy fast-paced strategy games with direct combat and a theme that breaks away from traditional militaristic tropes, Paw of Duty will win you over. Just remember that since it's a Print & Play format, you'll be setting up your own battlefield!
