How to Play Picky Eaters

Objective of the Game

In Picky Eaters, players aim to discover what other players dislike to eat and eliminate them through clever food serving. The player who survives the longest is declared the winner!

Preparation (Setup)

1. Place the 25 table cards.
2. Each player secretly receives a Character card.
3. Each player receives 3 Food cards.

Flow of the Game

The player identified as the most picky eater begins the game. Play proceeds in a clockwise order, with each player taking a turn.

Player Turn

1. Optional: Reveal New Cards: Before picking a card, you can optionally reveal two new cards and add them to the food tray.
2. Mandatory: Reveal New Cards: If there are no cards left, you must reveal new cards.
3. Picking Up Food: Each player picks up a food card.
4. Serving Food: Each player serves the picked food card to the dining area.

Serving Food

Food cards can be placed into empty positions within the 5x5 area. They can also be placed in positions outside the 5x5 area, provided they have at least one side touching another card. Empty table cards are considered empty positions.

Receiving Food

Characters sitting in the dining area receive all the food served in the same column and the same row. When a character receives food on their dining card:

• If only one of the Food is received, then flip their dining card.
• If two or more are received, that character is eliminated.

Eliminating a Player

When a character is eliminated, remove their dining card from the dining area. If a player was dealt that character at the beginning of the game, they must reveal their character card to show that they are eliminated.

End of Game and Scoring

The game ends when only one player remains. The player who survives the longest is the winner.
