Pirates of Maracaibo: Bermuda Triangle

Set sail and steady your nerves, because the adventure of Maracaibo is heading to the most mysterious place in the oceans: the Bermuda Triangle! If you've already mastered the trade routes of the Caribbean, you know that navigating these waters isn't for the faint of heart. Danger is constant here — violent storms can make navigation impossible, and colossal creatures lurk in the depths, waiting for an unsuspecting sailor. But, as every good pirate knows, where the risk is highest, the reward is greatest.

This expansion introduces the thrilling 'Treasure Hunt' module, transforming the gameplay into a frantic race. The goal is simple, but the execution is tense: who can locate and capture the most valuable treasure in the region? The competition heats up as you balance resource management with the urgency of reaching the prize first.

Beyond the new racing dynamic, the Bermuda Triangle brings a breath of fresh air to regular sessions with new improvement cards. You can mix these into the base game's deck, creating new strategic combinations and increasing the variability of every session. If you play solo, you haven't been forgotten: the expansion includes a new specific card to enhance the solo mode, making the single-player experience even richer.

Whether you're facing sea monsters or trying to dodge storms to secure glory, this expansion adds layers of tension and fun to Maracaibo's already robust system. It is the ideal complement for those seeking more challenge, more exploration, and, of course, more gold in their chest. Do you have the courage to sail where no one else dares to go?
