About the game

What you do in a play session

Pixel Tactics pits two friends against each other in tactical card duels set in the vibrant world of Indines. Each player starts with an identical 25‑card deck and drafts a leader whose abilities dramatically reshape how the rest of the cards can be used, yielding up to 25 distinct playstyles. A turn consists of placing cards on the battlefield – front‑line units or back‑line support – and then attacking the opponent. Cards can also be played as "orders," one‑time effects that can swing the battle in an instant. The goal is straightforward: defeat the opponent's leader. Games are typically played as best‑of‑three or best‑of‑five rounds, providing plenty of replay value. While it shares the setting and characters of BattleCON: War of Indines, Pixel Tactics' mechanics are wholly independent, emphasizing hand management, open drafting, and multi‑use cards. With a light weight (2.6/5) and a 30‑45 minute playtime, it’s perfect for a quick, strategic, and visually charming session, thanks to the cute chibi artwork. A digital version is available on Tabletopia for remote play.
