The Rifts shattered the world, unleashing a force called Riftforce that now courses across the continents. Elemental guilds learned to harness this power and form temporary alliances to guard the Rift portals. In Riftforce, each two‑player match begins by drafting four guilds out of ten, each granting an asymmetric ability. This open drafting stage yields countless combos, letting you pair, for example, the water guild’s mobility with the fire guild’s devastating elemental onslaught. Elementals serve as both troops and resource: you spend them to attack, yet you gain Riftforce by destroying your opponent’s elementals and by controlling locations along the Rift. Every turn you choose one of three actions – fortify your position, sacrifice elementals for powerful combos, or set up the next turn – demanding quick decisions and long‑term planning. The win condition is to amass enough Riftforce to ascend to a higher state of power, achieved by holding key points and eliminating most of the enemy’s elementals. With 20‑30 minute playtime, light rules (weight 2.1) and deep strategic layers, Riftforce rewards players who love discovering new synergies and a tense yet fluid duel rhythm. If you enjoy card games with hand management, open drafting, and variable player powers, get ready for intense head‑to‑head battles where every choice can flip the game.
