About the game
What you do in a play session
Police Precinct drops you and up to five friends into the shoes of city detectives, tasked with solving a murder while crime spirals out of control. Each player commands a cop with a unique specialty—interrogation, forensics, etc.—and together you scour four investigation decks (witnesses, crime scene, autopsy, weapon). The number of cards you draw depends on your rating and any boosts teammates give you for that search. If a corrupt officer is in play, he can claim he found nothing, adding a layer of deception. At the end of every turn you flip an event card representing crimes, emergencies, or emerging gangs placed on specific map locations; if these stack up, the city drowns in chaos and the killer gets away. Successful tasks may award a donut token, which can be spent to ease future actions. The clock ticks each round and the crime track advances whenever a task fails or there’s no room for more street criminals, leading to defeat if it reaches the end. The game blends dice rolling, hand management, point‑to‑point movement, and variable player powers, spiced with bluffing and negotiation. With a light weight (2.5/5) and a 90‑minute playtime, it’s approachable, yet the possibility of a hidden traitor and the race against time keep tension high. Perfect for fans of cooperative mysteries that love a dash of betrayal and team strategy.
