About the game

What you do in a play session

Pooman Cards puts a playful spin on the classic monster‑chase game, translating the chaos into a card‑based showdown. One player becomes the Pooman, the game master, flipping cards selected by the others. Each revealed card may be a collectible character, a special power card, or a Pooman card itself. Characters sport punny names like “Uriah Niles” and often carry brown stars that count toward victory. Special cards grant defensive abilities, such as the “Poocicle” that freezes the Pooman for a turn. When a Pooman card shows up, everyone must run: the master counts to ten and chases the player with the most stars; anyone caught loses all their cards. The first player to gather five brown stars wins. The box includes ten blank cards for custom character creation, boosting replay value. With playtime ranging from 5 to 20 minutes and a very light rule‑weight (1/5), it’s perfect for families, friends, or newcomers to card games. The blend of set collection, quick tactics, and the tension of a short‑burst chase creates lots of laughs and fast rounds, ideal for squeezing a game in between other commitments.
