In Trendy, you step into the glamorous world of fashion, where each player takes on the role of an influential designer, aiming to launch the next big trends. The goal is simple, yet the competition is fierce: be the first to accumulate over 100 prestige points before your rivals. How does it work? Each turn, you play a designer card face up onto the table, and then draw a new card to replenish your hand. The big moment happens when the number of cards for a specific designer on the table reaches the value printed on that designer's cards – it's the famous 'breakthrough'! When this occurs, players who contributed cards for that designer save their pieces for scoring at the end of the round, while all other played cards are discarded. The deck is cleverly balanced, with more cards of higher values, ensuring an interesting dynamic. But the fashion runway holds surprises! There are two special cards for each designer: the 'Super Model', which counts as double towards achieving a breakthrough, speeding up the process; and the 'Out' card, which clears all of that designer's face-up cards from the table, potentially disrupting opponents' plans. The game unfolds over several rounds, maintaining tension until one designer manages to stand out and surpass the 100-point mark, crowning themselves the king or queen of fashion!
