About the game
What you do in a play session
It’s summer, the campsite is buzzing with teens and the legend of the killer Escalpo haunts the cabins. Each player takes on one of the youngsters – Zeca, Bocão, Frederico, Serena or Tati – while another player becomes Escalpo for a round. The goal is to survive as long as possible and also rack up life points, both as victim and as the murderer.
The game runs in three turns per round. In the first turn the killer picks one of five action cards (like “Tell stories around the fire” or “Buy snack from the vending machine”) and the rest of the players simultaneously choose a card from their hand. Anyone whose card matches the killer’s loses a life point, which is handed to the killer. The killer’s played card returns to his hand, while players discard theirs, shrinking their options for the next phases. In turn two the killer may play two different cards, while each survivor still plays only one; in turn three the killer plays three cards and the players have only three remaining choices.
At the end of the round the killer role passes to the player on the left, ensuring everyone gets a taste of being the hunter. When each participant has been the killer once, the game ends and the player with the most life points – earned by escaping or by killing – wins. The mix of hand management, simultaneous action selection and bluffing generates tension and laughs, especially when someone tries to guess the next move of “Escalpo”. The game is quick (15‑30 minutes), light (weight 1.2) and supports 3‑6 players, perfect for casual get‑togethers or horror‑themed parties.
