About the game
What you do in a play session
Welcome back to the Posthuman universe, but with a twist! In Posthuman Saga, you're no longer a newcomer arriving at The Fortress, but an experienced militia veteran. A year has passed since the events of the previous game, and now you're sent outside the safe walls on missions to explore and reconnect with lost outposts. The post-collapse, post-class-war Europe is still a dangerous place, filled with mutants roaming ruins and scarce resources.
This solo or cooperative survival game (up to 4 players) throws you into a sandbox-style journey, but with a completely revamped game system. Exploration unfolds on a modular map you build as you go, and tactical decisions are crucial on two levels: navigating the terrain and in combat encounters. These combats are fast-paced, card-based affairs, forcing you to make difficult choices with consequences that echo throughout your adventure's future.
Narrative is a strong point, with over a hundred story scenes that unfold as you progress. The 'push your luck' mechanic adds an extra spice, complementing the emergent story from your actions. And of course, the post-human world has its mutations, which can be a double-edged sword: useful, but dangerous if they get out of control. Prepare for an immersive and challenging experience where every decision counts and survival is a daily achievement.
